WASHINGTON, DC PRAYER WALK

Day 1- JUNE 21, 2010
1:00 PM Buses depart First Baptist Church
Parking Lot (49 W. Boyce Street Manning) 803/435-8136
Rest stops en route to Washington area.
8:00 PM Approx. arrival time at hotel in
Fredericksburg, VA for overnight.
Supper on your own at one of the numerous restaurants nearby.
Day 2-JUNE 22, 2010
Continental breakfast in hotel
8:30 AM Board bus to travel into Washington
9:30 AM Drop off near Air and Space Museum
Prayer Walking at the Capitol, Russell Senate Building
And Supreme Court Building areas.
Noon Group walks to Old Post Office (Pennsylvania Ave.) for Food Court Lunch. Bus pickup here at 2 PM
2:00 PM Travel to Lincoln, Vietnam & Korean Memorials for Prayer walking remembering our military.
4:00 PM Board buses.
Supper stop enroute home.
Midnight – approx. arrival back in Manning at church.
(note: Federal Buildings do not open until 10 AM)
NO BANNERS, PLACARDS OR SIGNS will be permitted. No shouting or unruly conduct is allowed. THIS IS A PRAYERWALKING EXPERIENCE. We will be following guidelines provided to us by the office of Senator Lindsey Graham.
COST: $200 pp (single room occupancy)
$175 pp (double room occupancy)
$150 pp (triple room occupancy)
$140 pp (quad room occupancy)
Deposit: $75 per person. Balance due June 7th.

NO ONE IS PUT ON THE LIST WITHOUT A DEPOSIT PLEASE.
Cost includes: Chartered bathroom equipped coaches, hotel lodging for one night, DC permits and hotel rooms for bus drivers. If buses are full – then we may have funds to help with a meal.
Cost does not include: 3 meals and bus driver gratuities.
Only two buses will be booked. Once those buses are filled then a waiting list will begin.
Trip is open to those persons 18 yrs. and older.
This is a WALKING trip. Transportation will not always be available (due to bus parking restrictions in DC).
Once the group has formed we ask that all take part in the “blessing of the trip” at 6:30 PM on June 20th during the worship service at First Baptist, Manning. All churches are asked to come together (if possible according to their schedules) for this service.
